Gather with us as we we dive into a verse-by-verse study of this profound and precious book and stick our toes in the vast ocean of truth that is contained in its 21 chapters and 879 verses.

The Gospel of John is written in a very simple, straightforward style. He uses mostly small words, but the truths he communicates are powerful and Life-changing!

In this postmodern day and age where many see everything in shades of grey, we need this clear teaching which combats unclear thinking! John loves contrasts as he teaches:

• Life and Death

• Spirit and Flesh

• Conflict and Calm

Springtime on the Hill Series:

Passions of the Heart with Dr. John Street

Do you struggle with besetting sins that you just cannot seem to shake?  For our Springtime on the Hill series this year, Dr. John Street will join us for four Sunday evenings to take us through a powerful study on Passions of the Heart. Each session begins at 5:30pm and will be followed by a time of fellowship and dinner. Mark you calendars: The dates are 1/26, 2/16, 3/16, and 4/6. 

Dr.Street will guide us to take a hard look at the underlying idolatries that lead Christians to commit egregious sins. He will also show us that there is hope. These passions can be identified and resisted―and they can be forgiven. Jesus not only forgives the repentant sinner but also restores, giving men and women abundant grace and strength to say no to the fleshly desires and humbly live for him. A life enslaved in sin can become a life lived to the honor and glory of God. 

Dr. John D. Street is the Chair of the Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling and Professor of Biblical Counseling at The Master’s University & Seminary in California. He is also a Fellow and the President of the Board of Trustees of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).
