David has been serving in the ministry as a pastor for over two decades. He has a heart for the lost and a desire to see others discipled. He has been married to his lovely wife Kim over 35 years. David did his undergraduate work at Texas A&M University receiving a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree as well as a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. He holds both a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree from The Master’s Seminary.

Scott Meadows
Associate Pastor
Scott Meadows joined the staff of Lake Hills Community Church after serving as an elder for 14 years. Scott has a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling from The Master’s College and a Master of Divinity from the The Master’s Seminary. Scott is a certified biblical counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).
He has been married for 25 years to his cherished wife Jamie. They have two fantastic daughters (Sierra and Madison) and a wonderful son-in-law (Luke Christensen, who is married to Sierra). Luke and Sierra have already blessed them with Sadie, an amazing granddaughter, and another grandbaby is on the way! Their family began attending LHCC in 2003.
Scott’s favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 5:9: “Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.”
Dr. John Hughes
Elder, Chairman
John grew up in the suburbs of Chicago where he came to know Christ as his Savior at Vacation Bible School between his 6th and 7th grade year. John and his wife, Phyllis, were married in 1970, and now have four married children and 13 grandchildren. They have been attending Lake Hills Community Church since 2012. John worked at The Master’s University for 38 years, serving in a number of roles including Director of Teacher Education, Registrar, and Academic Dean. John and Phyllis serve together on the church’s missions committee and are involved in supporting several mission organizations including The Master’s Academy International and APEX International Expats. Since the mid-1990’s, they have had the opportunity to travel to Albania numerous times to support the work of the Abraham Lincoln Foundation of Albania and Grace Church Tirana.
One of his favorite Bible passages is Ephesians 2:6-8 which focuses on “…the immeasurable riches of God’s grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.”
Ben Casebolt
Elder
Ben was raised in a small town in Montana, being saturated with the Gospel at a young age as he watched his father faithfully preach the truth of God's Word at the Livingston Bible Church. Before moving to California in 2005, he earned his Associates degree in Biblical Studies from New Tribes Bible Institute in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Ben met and married his wife, Julia, while working at Grace to You, John MacArthur's radio ministry. Together they are raising four energetic children, teaching them of "My Father's World" as often as possible in the mountains around Southern California. Ben and his family have been attending Lake Hills Community Church since 2011.
Psalm 91:1-2: "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, 'My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!'"
Kelly Miell
Elder
Kelly grew up in a small farming community in central Iowa where God graciously saved him at the age of nineteen. The Lord directed him to Los Angeles two years later where he grew in his understanding of God’s word while attending the Logos Bible Institute. Through the years Kelly has had the privilege to serve in various capacities which include children’s ministry, overseas missions, one on one discipleship, leading home bible studies, ministering to the aged and biblical counseling. His greatest joy comes in serving the body of Christ and others whenever a need arises. Kelly shares his ministry with his beloved wife Shana. Together they have four children and five grandchildren. He and his wife have been attending Lake Hills for eleven years.
His favorite verse is Galatians 6:10 “So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of faith”
Greg Wolf
Elder
Greg and his family have been attending Lake Hills since July of 1999 and he has served as an Elder since 2001. Greg has been involved in various ministries since joining Lake Hills: music ministry, leading men’s ministry and men’s retreats, coordinating outreach events as well as home bible study/prayer groups. Greg has a bachelors in Business Administration and has taken courses in Biblical Counseling at the Master’s University. Greg has been married for 28 years and has three sons.
Greg’s favorite verse is: ”Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2
